My guest this week is Raven Grimassi. Raven Grimassi is perhaps best known for his knowledge and writings on the Family Tradition of Witchcraft known as Stregheria. He has been a teacher and practitioner of the Craft for nearly 30 years. His many book titles include: Italian Witchcraft: The Old Religion of Southern Europe; The Wiccan Mysteries: Ancient Origins & Teachings; The Witch's Familiar: Spiritual Partnerships for Successful Magic; Spirit of the Witch: Religion & Spirituality in Contemporary Witchcraft among many others. Raven Grimassi considers it his life's work to ensure the survival of ancient witch lore and legend along with ancestral teachings of the Old Religion. To that end, Raven, along with his wife, Stephanie Taylor - Grimassi, have been quite busy developing a couple of on-line teaching systems; one called, ??????Ash, Birch and Willow, and also ??????The College of the Crossroads??????. Raven and I had a telephone interview to discuss these developments. Many of you only have only been with me since the creation of this podcast. Raven was a live in-studio guest of mine back around ??????03, or ??????04 when The Spiral Dance was heard on Allston-Brighton Free Radio in Boston.
