NASA astronomers will monitor asteroid 2007 WD5 over the coming weeks, refining current calculations that it has a 1 in 75 chance of hitting Mars on January 30. An impact could be a scientific bonanza, with several spacecraft at the Red Planet serving as eyewitnesses.
