The American baritone discusses the challenges of performing Figaro's aria (probably the most popular baritone aria ever written); his view of Figaro as a character; the wonderful teamwork of Lyric's cast; and the story behind his new solo CD, which features songs by a broad spectrum of gifted contemporary American composers -- from Ben Moore and Gene Scheer to Tom Waits and Billy Joel.
