Captain Norm Isaacs is host of “Raymarine’s Inside Big Game Fishing the World” and a regular face on ESPN.  When Captain Norm isn’t out filming, he is an active charter boat skipper working on his own boat off the Kona Coast of Hawaii, and at certain times of the year can be found taking in some of the world's other hot fishing spots such as Midway & Australia.

Growing up a freshwater fishing enthusiast, Captain Norm evolved into an obsessive bass fanatic. He chased around the bass tournaments until he was severely bitten by the big game bug during the late 60’s while fishing with his dad and his brother off the South Texas coast.  Settling in South Padre Island, Texas, Norm skippered offshore trips until the lure of the big fish off Hawaii’s famous Kona Coast caused him to move his charter operation there in the early 80’s, fishing Kona some 225 days a year ever since.

Over the years, Captain Norm has racked up an impressive record of more than 30 wins and placings in Hawaii’s fishing tournaments and has been written up both nationally and internationally numerous times for some of his notable catches and innovative ideas pertaining to offshore fishing.  He is also a published writer with monthly articles appearing in a variety of publications ranging from , magazines and to ESPN.com and SportFishing Marlin Hawaii Fishing News BigGameFishingTheWorld.com.
